Can anyone help me identify a powder, or point me in the right direction. *I have 12 pounds and would like to use it if possible. *The keg had written in magic marker AA 205. *I have contacted Accurate Arms and they say is not a one of their powder numbers. *The grains are 2 different colors, light gray and dark gray, they are not ball, nor flake nor cylinderal. *They are all about the same size, more round, than anything else but with an odd shape with *a rough surface. * I will not use it until I can positively IDENTIFY it. I enjoy reading the posts on this site. *I have learned a lot.

Contact Winchester and see if it is an old powder they used in their AA shotshells.

I have identified this powder as Win. AA20S, it was made in
the late 1960s for reloading shotgun. The burning rate puts it between AL-7 and AL-8 according to an artical in "Propellant Profiles" by Wolff Publishing. I would like to use it for reloading pistol, most any cal. Does anyone have any data for AA20S. I have data for shotgun.
