This has gotta be an oldie. Potter, an old name in reloading equipment, had a lead hardness tester. I've seen a picture of it in an old Handloaders Digest. ??Has anyone got one or had experiance w/one? Pepe Ray

A query a while back on the Yahoo Cast Bullet List found a couple. One was still in use and one was retired in favour of an LBT tester. $32.00 in 1969

I have a Potter that I bought about 10 years ago at a gun show in Dallas for $10. It has it's own tarage table to reference the lead/tin alloys. I use it each time I play with different alloys. It is a good unit that gives repeatable readings.

Thanks guys, I'm happy to here it. Many times things get advertised but never produced. So I can keep my eyes open for one. I'm impressed w/the design, no springs and all. Pepe Ray
