This looks like a good site for the H&R crowd to lite. I bought a .243 Ultra Varmit one week and the forum closed the next.

I too was disappointed that the H&R/NEF forum was discontinued. This time last year I didn't own any of them, now I've got two rifles and a shotgun. I'm surprised at the fit & finish for the price, of course they're nothing fancy.
