Midway has the Trigger Happy upgrade for $89. Brownell's is $99. Grafs and Midsouth didn't have it as far as I could determine on-line.
Anyone know where the best buy is? Also, I noticed that Brownell's had a coil spring to assist cocking. Is this a big plus over the stock part?
What are all the upgrades to the Guide Gun? I'd like to do some work on it but I don't know what's available to buy or to do myself.
Hey, what can I say I'm hooked!
Thanks for all your help and opinions in advance. Robie.

If you are a tinkerer with a little extra knowledge I have done a few of the Mic McPherson mods to my marlins, here is a reply I done last year. http://shootersforum.com/showthread.htm?t=7332
Some of this may help you. Hope is does.

Swany, thanks for that info. I ordered the Happy Trigger yesterday and will install that. I'd also like to do the spring mods and stone the wear surfaces. I've never done that particular work on a gun. I'm willing to try but I also don't want to mess up the gun. Do you have any manual with pictures or anything that shows specifically what you've done to yours?

Robie, far as stoning the wear surfaces, it is a simple matter, just look for the spots that the coating is worn off or can tell it is dragging. Marshall asked me do some pictures also, I have just got a digital camera and will try to get to that in the near future, I've got another marlin project I'm going to do (hopefully, a pistol grip to straight stock conversion without buying parts) so I'll do that when I do it. I'm going to try some editing on the original.
