Clipdraw is light, doesn't get in the way and doesn't add any bulk plus there is no chance of a holster coming out still around the barrel.

I like Safariland paddle holsters.

If you like plastic, Try www.blade-tech.com
or if you like leather try www.kramerleather.com
or www.brigadegunleather.com
or www.miltsparks.com

I have an M-3 for my full size 1911 Colt from Brigade gun leather
and 2 blade-tech's for conseled carry. One for a compact 1911 springfield and a Taurus .44 Spl snub nose both are the tuckable IWB

The best 1911 holster for the money (around 35 dollars - brownells discount) is the Ross (made in South Africa) behind the back cross drawl holster. This is unbleievably a great quality deal. It's molded to fit a 1911 and will hold it with no straps.

check out the C.L.S. from Dillon, not much money, and even less bulk. Will take any 1911 style even a High Power. $25.
