Does anyone know when Noske scopes were first available? I know they're mentioned by O'Connor using his Model 54 270 in 1925. I saw one on a Marlin from around 1901. The scope said Patent Pending. I'm thinking this could be an original. The time seems right. Any information would be appreciated.

The earliest Rudolph Noske scope I know of is the Fieldscope No.1 Type A which was made from 1930 to 1939. In fact that is the time fram for almost all the Noske scopes. They made no more scopes after the start of WWII. Earl

Thanks for the information! I've seen them mentioned in my Jack O'Connor books, but he never specifies the date he was using them.

Does anyone make similar scopes to the Noske? I.E. long eye relief ones that could replace the Noske?

Thanks
