I've read that in pistol calibers, the Win. 94 is more suitable for longer OAL cartridge lengths than the Marlin. Is that true?

Second, I've read about the 'Marlin Jam', and the simple steps to cure it if concerned about it. Is there any such comparable issue for Winnies?

I never got that deep into the Marlins to give a good answer as for my Win 94 45 LC, the bore will handle some long loads that will not feed out of the magazine-1.650 is about max for good feeding from the magazine! Both the Marlin and Win have the jam problem-mine was fixed by Winchester when they fixed my ejector that broke -now it feeds like a dream- work the action slow or fast no jams! :D
