Hi

I'm new to the forum I saw a few of you guys talking about the P90, I was wondering have any of you had trouble with the "paint in the hole" of your sights coming out or just going away.. and if so how did you fix it without spending a fortune on sights??

Nope.... and had mine since the first year they came out.

I'd re-fill the holes with fingernail polish in your choice of colors, personally....

Thanks Mike... I'll have to try that!

What I did on my .22 rifles, was take some white primer on a brush, and coat the sights. Then take some glow orange and do it again. Kinda looks like one of those toys I had as a kid, but very was to see the sights.

I replaced the factory sights on my P89DC with tritium sights.
If I was going to keep the factory sights, and needed to re-paint the dots, I'd degrease them really well with automotive starting fluid, (carb cleaner is often oil-based), and simply re-paint the dots with the most durable stuff I could find.

Nathaniel,

I have a couple of Ruger P series pistols. I've often thought about putting after market sights on them. (For that matter I've also thought about upgrading my sights on my Glocks).

Can you tell me exactly the name of the sights you put on your P89DC? And also, did you put the on yourself or did it require a gunsmith (that is how difficult is this to do)?

Thanks and regards,
