I was looking for a little info on this bullet.

I was wanting to know how much groove diameter bearing surface there is above the crimp groove ?

I'm not sure I understand your question but this particular design has a relatively short bore ridding nose. Does that help?

I guess what I meant is ,does the nose on the way down towards the crimp groove end in a full diameter band, or does it go straight to bore diameter above the crimp groove, its kind of hard to tell from the Redding catalog.

I had e-mailed Redding prior to posting the question here but they were all at the shot show but I did get a responce yesterday.

I ordered the mould from GAR yesterday! Two cavity.
