The gun has no upwards kick at all. I'm 6'1 around 140lbs, so I'm a skinny guy, and the barrel comes up maybe 2 inches with me. It really just pushes back against your hand.

We were shooting 350gr Hornady's . I was surprised at how accurate that big thing actually is. From 45 yardsan 8" target was no big deal.

Try a few Corbon 400 grains or (reload to same levels) this is much more powerful. Then try the 440 grain. Shooting this load is brutal shooting all afternoon!!! ;)
