Hi folks, I posted this over on the new Marlinowners forum also. I've been reloading for my 35 for several years and I'm still using the SAME brass. I have never ever had to trim a single case. I've lost count of how many loads have been thru them. Most are just under max, although I have crossed that line before. There is no sign of excess wear or anything on the cases. Is this normal? Every other cartridge I load for requires trimming.

It's a pretty low-pressure round and I suspect that's at the heart of the matter.
I have done a small amount of .35 Rem loading, and surprisingly, just neck-sizing with a .357 mag carbide die seems to work very well.... despite the conventional wisdom that full-length or even small-base resizing is necessary for lever guns.
As I get a few more reloads on the cases, will keep track of when f/l sizing is necessary, and how much stretching I get. Would like to hear other reports as well....

I've got one box that's been reloaded 6 times and they have stretched a few thousandths. I trimmed them to even them up, but it wasn't really neccessary. The one thing you have to watch for is over-resizing. There's not much shoulder on the .35 Remington and I'd start with the die backed off a full turn and try them that way.
Bye
