Hello, I got a brick of Aguila 22 ammo a couple weeks ago. 32 gr bullet, something like that, supposed to be the fastest 22 bullet. Seems to be quick little bullet but not clean burning. Down right dirting burning powder. Anyone else have any experience shooting these?

I haven't had the opportunity to use Aguila yet, but have read that the hotter rimfire loads tend to be very dirty. CCI Stingers I've used in my 22 certainly are, and I have a 17HMR that's even worse. Don't know why it is, maybe the type of powder being used?

i was surprised at how many different types of .22 ammo Aguila manufacures. here's a site that lists them.

I too bought 2 bricks of the hyper velocity aguila ammo to anchor P-dogs while the centerfires cool down. I haven't done too much shooting with them yet, and although they do seem somewhat dirty I am very impressed with there performance. With a stock Rem 597 I can get about .75 inch groups at 50yds and there performance on some starlings was very good. They also penetrated 792 pages of a telephone book shot at approx. 30 yards. Despite being on the dirty side I've had zero feeding problems. I clean my guns regularly so the dirty ammo doesn't bother me.
