Can someone give me information/advice on one piece firing pins? Where to get them, positive/negative aspects of using them? Price? Are they available for the 336? Just curious.

One piece pin not available for the 336, to my knowledge.
The advantage of the one piece pin in the 1894 is that it will allow you to use a much lighter mainspring and still get reliable ignition. Mainly used by the Cowboy Action shooters during tune-up of their actions. However, you are removing one of the safety features that Marlin builds into their rifles.
