I just recently tried to sight in my old springfield which has a 3x9x Bushnell Banner scope mounted on it. I could not get it to focus in the 5 - 9 x range. The scope has been used very little and has been mounted on the rifle and on the gun rack for many years. Any suggestions as to what may have happened or what I might do to correct the problem. Send it to Bushnell for warranty work. They are one of the harder manufacturers to get warranty work from, but hang tuff and have them do it.

That is, unless it had a one or two year warranty. Can't remember what the Banner's had on them.

Bushnell may be changing. I recently had a very positive warranty repair experience with them. 10 days from the time I sent the scope and it was back repaired correctly for just the $10 S&H fee.

Thank you for the information. I've had this scope for over 20 years; but, it has been on the rifle on the rack for most of that time. I just recently was able to test it again and found the problem. I guess I could send it to somebody for a look; but, it may not be cost effective. Thanks again.
