One of my pawn haunts has one in about 90% shape for $150. Hefts with a 'bit' more feel than a 6" K-frame, due to an apparently heavier barrel and top rib. Timing and lock-up are spot-on.
I'm NOT misguided enought to BEGIN to think it will equal or replace ANY Smith, so there's no need to go down that road. :o Just wanted some input. :)

Seems like a good cheap plinker. I dunno how good Llama's revolvers are, but their .45's are great guns.

Their quality control has been spotty for years, so their reputation is kinda iffy, but there's an upside to that. A friend found a new Llama 9mm autopistol for $160, when he asked why so cheap they said the reputation was the problem. Turns out he got a good one, with me shooting it groups were under an inch and a half (!) and with him shooting good ammo, it was right around an inch for five shots at 25 yards.
As for the 22, my best suggestion is to buy it and see! If's it's bad, try more types of ammo, or trade it off. Consider it a learning experience, and maybe you;ll get lucky like my buddy did! ;)

I passed on that one. Picked up a couple at the show of known quality.
Thanks!

VictorLewis,
Let me know what you think of the Comanche, I have been looking into a .22 or .38 for target shooting...The price is good, but haven't seen one in person..........
