Just kidding with the title :)

But, I usually advise folks to buy a 38-55 if they are going to shoot black powder, and the 375 Win if they are going to shoot smokeless because the 375 seems easier to load for.

Is there any reason a guy could not load black powder in the 375? Too thick of brass, microgroove, or something?
Seems it would solve a lot of "problems" with that "undersize chamber"/"oversize bore" thing with the 38-55. A guy could possibly have the best of both worlds with the 375.

Again, any problems with the 375 and black?

Thanks

No real reason you can't, but as you guessed the combination of mirco-groove rifling and the faster twist of .375W barrels may make fouling more of a problem...just a guess, haven't tried it in a .375Win. Did try it in a .444, and so long as I kept the bore clean, it shot well.
