Appreciate your responses, I did read Bill's post in Tech notes. I am going with H110 over lil' gun because I have 8lbs of H110 on hand. I have some CDs maturing, so I'm going to drop a big wad on MR. Clement's. I'm going to order a 5 1/2 " SBH the 20" 1894 and a 1895G in .45/70.
Getting the ashley sights on the 2 rifles and some misc. other work done too. Big splurge for me. I've always used guns "out of the box" with factory ammo. Looking forward to working on the handloads. Have budgeted for a chronograph also. Starting to feel like a kid at Christmas.
