Marshall, I would like to shoot your .410 bullet, 265 gr. WLN GC, in my Marlin lever action. Is that seated and crimped bullet too long for the carrier?? Or does the carrier have to be modified?? Thanks. L.W.

LeanWolf,

I honestly am not sure... aren't that many of those Marlin 41's floating around, and I've had no experience with them.  My hunch is, that the max C.O. L. will be the same or similar to that of the .44's manufactured during that time period, and you'll have to modify the the cartridge lifter by milling back the cartridge stop on the lifter by .100" in order for the LFN or WLN profile bullets with their .450" nose to crimp length.

I'm eager to hear how this shakes out with your 41!

Keep us posted!

God Bless,

Marshall
