I just ordered a 357 winchester legacy with a 24" barrel. Can anyone give me a light 38 special load for it? I'll be useing 158gr lead round nose bullets.

A great all purpose .38 Special load with a standard 158g RN profile is 5.7g AA #5/ Any small pistol primer and any .38 Special brass.  Will give about 1075 out of your leagacy, and be very mild to shoot and on the ears.  Easy on the budget as well.

God Bless,

Marshall

How about the tried n' true 3.5 grains of Bullseye with those 158's? A classic load since dirt was a new idea. Should do 1000-1050 fps from your Winchester. Economical too.
