Has anyone worked on any 300/350 gr. loads using JHP's or cast bullets, nothing HOT, just someting to have some fun with.

Marty,
        The 450 has just slightly less case capacity than the 45-70 so any of the low pressure "trap door" loads should be fine for your purposes,check the hodgdon and IMR websites for data.
