Sawdust,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but we've been swamped, and I'm getting run a little thin around here.   Please don't think I've ignored your post!   I just had to go dig out my data, and then have time to post it!

Yes, I've had a number of folks give very favorable, and successful harvest reports with the .349"-245g LFNGC bullets.   Still haven't had a report of recovered bullets, but some great success stories of complete penetration of deer, elk and bear... no moose reported as of yet!

Here are some loads for you!

BTB .349"-245g LFNGC/43.0g IMR 4895/WLRP/Win Brass/1875 fps

BTB .349"-245g LFNGC/45.0g IMR 4064/WLRP/Win Brass/1950 fps

BTB .349"-245g LFNGC/51.0g IMR 4320/WLRP/Win Brass/2130 fps

BTB .349"-245g LFNGC/55.0g H4350/WLRP/Win Brass/2140 fps

BTB .349"-245g LFNGC/56.0g AA#4350/WLRP/Win Brass/2240 fps

These should give you some place to start, but the IMR powders seem to work the best in this cartridge with the cast bullets for some reason.

FWIW,

God Bless,

Marshall
